Workingtowards A Thesis

What do you find most interesting about your topic/issue as you researched? Include field research. Think small or big; you could respond either with a list of information and/or ideas or with a category or two that organizes a list of information and/or ideas (a category would be “the effects of bullying include … ” or the “causes of bullying include…”). Write as much as possible here.

If you listed info above instead of categories, list the one or two biggest categories for the info listed above (a category would be “the effects of bullying include … ” or the “causes of bullying include…”)

Your paper will concentrate on one or two of these categories. As you decide how to present the information, consider whether there is something you want your readers walk away from your paper believing about this topic/issue. Write below.

Consider your own personal experiences with this topic? Write below.

Decide on a “working” (i.e. it will change as you draft) theme for your essay. A working theme may be something like: “Of the many effect of bullying on children, depression is both the most invisible and the most dangerous.”
